What do you see as the purpose of graduate studies?

There is no doubt that the main purpose of graduate studies is to promote and encourage the intellectual and professional development of graduate students as well as faculty.
Specifically, the goals of graduate studies in the department of technology are as follows:

      1. To provide a solid foundation for advanced graduate studies leading to Ph.D. or Ed.D. degrees.
      2. To provide opportunities for the preparation of master teachers and/or teacher certification.
      3. Professional and skill development for those working in industry.
